Am 8. März war Weltfrauentag. Seit genau 100 Jahren wird dieser Tag jährlich begangen.
Im Internationalen Jahr der Frau (1975) wurde dieser Tag schließlich zum „Tag der Vereinten Nationen für die Rechte der Frau und den Weltfrieden.
